FUTURO Night Wrist Sleep Support Splint Review

Sleep support splints are effective.

My carpal tunnel syndrome was painful. I experienced severe pins and needles sensations (tingling, numbness, and pricking) as well as limited movement.

My doctor recommended wearing splints at night to maintain a correct position and improve circulation. The goal was to restore function and provide relief to the affected tissue and nerves.

By wearing the splints faithfully over time, I was fortunate and resolved the issue without surgery. Eventually I could take splint breaks without noticeable symptoms.

To this day, if I have even a slight tingle, I immediately resume the splinting until it resolves. I sometimes use a small day splint as a preventative to maintain a neutral wrist position on excessive typing days, as well as a padded keyboard support and mouse pad.

Although splinting was an effective treatment for me, it’s always recommended if you have a concern or are experiencing symptoms to consult with your provider.

Many recommend and support the use of splints, but it’s also important to review other available treatment options and rule out any underlying conditions.

Splints are an effective treatment for many carpal tunnel sufferers, and their design has improved over the years.

The flesh toned, bulky, and unsightly orthopedic models of yesterday with rough fabric clamps and brackets have been replaced by Velcro straps, soft fabric, and padded interiors.

We can all be thankful for that.

I’ve tried many different splints searching for the most comfortable fit and attractive model. This one is my favorite.

FUTURO Night Wrist Sleep Support

This splint has a comfortable sleeve design and is adjustable, ambidextrous, and durable. I found the cushion really comfortable and the palmar splint effective for maintaining a neutral position.

The color is a deeper blue so it maintains a fresher look with use. FYI. It’s not made with natural fabrics if that’s a concern.

Where to purchase the FUTURO Night Wrist Sleep Support and cost.

The FUTURO Night Wrist Sleep Support, made by the 3M Company is available for purchase on-line, and in select chain pharmacies and retail stores.

Price ranges from $26 to $35 on-line from retail stores (Walmart and Target) for a single support and $19.99 for a single on Amazon.

Sometimes local retail pharmacies have special sales on FUTURO products making them more budget friendly, but I haven’t seen one for awhile.

These splints are sturdy, durable, effective, comfortable and long lasting. It’s money well spent.
